Support PRIME TIME
The PRIME TIME Program is offered in East Gainesville, an area where the high school drop-out and teen pregnancy rates are disproportionately high. The children who participate in PRIME TIME are from households unable to afford traditional after-school programs.
PRIME TIME is supported by University of Florida College of Education students and organizations, Santa Fe Community College East Gainesville Initiative, East Side High School students, Lake Forest, Duval and P.K. Young Elementary school students and staff, Caring and Sharing students and staff, United Way, Jr. League, United Methodist Church, Area Churches, other community organizations and individuals.
PRIME TIME serves at-risk and low-income children at no charge. Our funding comes from individuals, local churches and civic groups. The PRIME TIME PARTNER PROGRAM allows people and organizations to directly support the $1800 annual cost per child for the academic year.
Please contact Angela Monroe at 352-378-9241 or mail in the form within the newsletter if you are interested in the PRIME TIME PARTNER PROGRAM. Continued financial support of this program is necessary for the program to survive.
